UMR, UMP and UMK
"UMR" is an old term that is still popular. What applies now is the UMP (provincial minimum wage) and the UMK (district/city minimum wage). If your city has a UMK, that is your pay floor, and a UMK is always at least the UMP.
In some provinces, notably West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java and Banten, the UMP is only a floor figure because actual minimums are set per regency/city. UMK figures are often much higher, so fill in the UMK field for an accurate result.
Who is entitled to the minimum wage?
The minimum wage applies to workers with less than 1 year of service. Workers beyond a year should be paid by the company's wage structure and scale. Micro and small businesses are exempt.
